7. What was the popular car/cars of the decade that you drove or really wanted but didn’t get?
8. Do you remember Rwanda?
9. Your favorite slang? Do you still say it?
10. Was there any trends you were apart of in the 90’s?
11. What character from the 1990s would you like to hang out with the most?
12. What do you remember about Michael Jordan?
13. Did you side with George H Bush even after he broke his no new taxes promise? Why or why not?
14. Favorite movie of the 90’s and why?
15. What fashion trend would you have stay in the 90’s and never come back?
1. I remember the Bill Clinton scandal. Everyone knew that he was lying including me, I just just couldn’t believe he had done that to his wife.
2. Magic Johnson announcing that he had HIV. It was the first time I really remember hearing much about this disease because it got so much press since he was a well known figure.
3. Bill Clinton. Two words - Monica Lewinsky it was the only thing that stuck in my head about politics in the 90’s.
4. I listened to a lot of the popular christian music in the 90’s. My favorite song by far was Awesome God. I really liked Steven Curtis Chapman as well.
5. I liked Full House. It was a fun show to watch for mindless tv fun and a great little family fantasy... teamwork, sweet people, and good clean fun.
6. It was such a horrible event in that it was tragic and alarming. Though many more people could have died than did, it really disrupted how Americans viewed the rest of the world.
7. I was never really that into cars during that decade. My dad owned a car dealership so whatever car he gave me was the car I drove. I did hate mini vans though, that’s still true to this day.
8. I remember thinking our government should have intervened. Out of all the conflicts we put ourselves in the middle of, that is definitely one that I personally thought we should have been involved in. Their government murdered thousands of people without any second thoughts, it was absolutely horrendous. So much evil unleashed in such brazen ways is disturbing to the core.
9. I forget. Did "My bad" originate in the 90s? I probably said that some...
10. The only trend I ever really got into were those terrible butterfly clips that everyone had on their head. The more you had of those, the better it looked. I still regret those.
11. I would probably hangout with the Friends cast but my favorite character in that show is definitely Phoebe. I think everyone wanted to be in a group of friends like this... unconditional and fun loving.. few strings attached and a lot of great personalities.
12. I remember he was the biggest deal in basketball ever. He went to school at UNC which is where I went to college so that made him even more of a big deal for me. Every girl had a crush on him. I never really understood the whole tongue hanging out thing though.
13. I don’t really remember much about the politics of that time, however I can remember being upset that he made a promise just to get into office and break it. But politicians have always been like that so why were we surprised?
14. I hate to sound anti-American, but I hated the Titanic. The story is worth telling, and it was done really well, I just did not want to watch the horror unfold.
15. Jelly shoes, absolute worst trend, ever. I wish we could erase those from our past never to be seen again. There has never been anything created that was as ugly as those.
